"primary" is a confusing option for our existing API of button's type property. The term "primary" implies that it is the most used button, and it gives the impression that our default button is in fact of secondary use.

The logic behind the name of the primary type today is that it is meant to be used for "primary actions", such as our Bookmark Panel footer actions. However, the use of this button is currently beyond just for primary and secondary relationships. You can also see it at use for promoting Firefox features (e.g. More from Mozilla and about:protections).

The goal is to find a better descriptive name that implies the use case of this button. As an example, here are terms we've came up with in the past "highlighted", "emphasized". We haven't decided on a term but we should think this through and update the API.
