Environment:
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 122.0a1 (2023-11-20)
Preconditions:
Clean profile
A repository created with a README.md file
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to : https://github.com/
- Perform account login.
- Navigate to a repository that has a README.md file.
- Click on the edit button located inside the README.md box.
- Observe the "Indent size" input field located on the right-hand side (Input box with a digit inside).
Expected Behavior:
The box has the same width as in Chrome
Actual Behavior:
The box has a smaller width compared to Chrome
Notes:
- Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
- Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
- Works as expected using Chrome.
- Screenshot attached
- Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing

Verified this issue and it's still reproducible on Firefox versions 123 and 125.
Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Browsers: Firefox Nightly 125.0a1 (2024-02-22) / Firefox Release 123 / Chrome 121.0.6167.185
Note: Not reproducible on Chrome
