We're aware of the issue here and we'll fix it before 122 goes to beta.

Hm, based on the regressor, Bug 1864544, I assumed this was due to the conditional mediation feature and I tagged Bug 1867682 as a blocker. Cosmin says that the patch for Bug 1867682 doesn't fix this, so now I think this test has just always been unreliable on macOS and we've just exposed a pre-existing problem. I'll look into it.

:jschanck next week is Fx122 Merge Day 2023-12-18, the nightly soft code freeze starts on 2023-12-14.
Any updates since Comment 3 to create a patch before the end of this week?

I think we can close this as a dupe of Bug 1869309. pbz has a patch there.

The patch from Bug 1869309 seems to work. Fix verified in today's central as early beta simulation.
