User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:120.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/120.0
Steps to reproduce:
Hello Mozilla Team,
I would like to report an issue and suggest an enhancement for the Firefox browser regarding bookmark synchronization. Currently, when I synchronize my bookmarks across different devices, I've noticed that the favicons (website icons) associated with these bookmarks are not saved and synchronized along with the bookmarks.
Suggested Feature:
I propose an enhancement to the Firefox sync functionality to include the synchronization of favicons with bookmarks. This feature would ensure that when bookmarks are synced across devices, their respective favicons are also transferred and displayed, maintaining a consistent and familiar browsing experience.
Benefits of the Suggested Feature:
Improved User Experience: Users will easily recognize their bookmarks through visual icons, enhancing navigation and efficiency.
Consistency Across Devices: Provides a uniform browsing experience, regardless of the device being used.
I believe this feature would be greatly appreciated by many Firefox users who regularly switch between multiple devices. Thank you for considering this enhancement to improve the Firefox browsing experience.
Best regards,
Alexander
Actual results:
Bookmarks are synced across devices, but without their respective favicons.
Users are required to visit each website again to load the favicon.
Expected results:
Bookmarks and their associated favicons are both synced across devices.
Immediate recognition of bookmarks through their favicons on any synced device

Sorry for the delay, I didn't notice this because it was in an odd component. We are tracking this in bug 428378
