As part of https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D193854, I made it so that the getPreviewEndpoint method always returns null for all callers. I believe getPreviewEndpoint was only ever used for snippets. I suspect we can probably remove the concept of endpoints altogether, once bug 1715158 closes.
