With 1855031, easy setup screens will use screen targeting to render screens and ShellService calls are unused in AWParent/AWChild. Originally removing the calls caused a performance regression in load time which may no longer been an issue/needs to be investigated. See comment

There is an r+ patch which didn't land and no activity in this bug for 2 weeks.

Patch has gone stale and unclear if current approach is something we'd like to proceed with. Feel free to re:open this Punam if need be. But I'll remove myself as this isn't being actively worked on.
