Steps to reproduce

  1. Find a link to a PDF in Gmail
  2. Click the PDF to open it (make sure the OS is set to allow you to open it in Firefox)

Expected behavior

The PDF should be opened & visible in the Firefox app.

Actual behavior

An error page is displayed suggesting "File Not Found". The URL bar contains a link starting with content://com.google.android.gm.sapi/...

  • Android device model: Pixel 6

Ah, fixed in today's build!

I was just typing up a comment to add to this, but now I can simplify it: what does this mean for Bug 1806171, which overlaps with this one?
