The Ship It API is consistently slow for some requests.

On
https://shipit.mozilla-releng.net/xpi

we fetch
https://shipit-api.mozilla-releng.net/github/xpis/mozilla-extensions/xpi-manifest/HEAD

which consistently takes more than 10 seconds to respond.

Thanks for the bug report, :TheOne. I confirm I'm able to reproduce locally (see screenshot). How much does this issue impact your work? (I'm just trying to gauge when a fix is needed)

Thanks! It's not super important, and it obviously depends on the complexity of the issue, but seeing this fixed any time in Q1 would be great!
