Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows 98; U) Opera 6.04 [en]
Build Identifier: Mozilla 1.3 Alpha
At the mozilla.org start page (loaded when first running Mozilla after installation), the page claims that 1.2.1 is a newer version than the current version, and recommends upgrading. However, 1.3 is obviously newer than 1.2.1, thus implying an error in the version checking on the page.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mozilla
2. Allow to auto-run after installation (default action)
3. Read text in box at top of page
Actual Results:
(See Details)
Expected Results:
It should recognize 1.3 Alpha as a newer version as 1.2.1, and not display the current recommendation.
