There was a similar bug in the past(Bug 1581868). But I still occasionally see the black page when restoring Firefox app from background with latest Firefox release on Android 13 device.

:jnicol, is there a similar bug already? Is there a good way to get information related to it? When I tried to get information with "adb shell logcat". The log did not have useful information.

I think this could be bug 1813880. Is this resolved by switching tabs, or minimizing and restoring the app? Or does the issue persist until you kill the app? I ask because unlike bug 1581868 my hunch is this isn't a graphics issue (failing to resume the compositor), but rather a more fundamental problem that gecko isn't correctly respawning a content process after it has been killed by the OS whilst in the background.

If you can reproduce again, can you try running adb shell ps | grep mozilla? And capture a profile?

Its my smartphone that is broken and wont turn on. So I could not reproduce the problem. Sorry.
