When editing the location bar, Fenix provides suggestions based on bookmarks and history. However, the only possible user action on these suggestions is to visit them. This is a terrible user experience: this means that to navigate to a URL very similar to one in bookmarks/history, one has to either re-enter the entire URL, or visit the similar one and edit it (which may be undesirable for many reasons: slowness, privacy, etc.).

Also, I believe this is a regression: Fenix used to offer a way to copy a suggestion to the URL bar without immediately visiting it (with a diagonal arrow). For some reason this was removed or broken (it remains possible for search terms, for some reason).

A possible intuitive and non-intrusive user interface would be: long press on a completion should open a contextual menu with various options such as “copy to clipboard” and “enter in URL bar for edit” (possibly also “view full URL”).
