I regularly receive emails with attachments that supercede early attached
documents - like pricelists. I save these over the top of the previous
documents. Attachments > Save All creates a confirm overwrite dialog for each an
every attachment in the email that is overwriting a file on the hard drive. In
the confirm dialog 'xxx already exists. Do you want to replace it? Yes Cancel' I
would like an additional button 'Yes to All' so I don't have to keep pressing
for every attachment I want to overwrite.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find an email with multiple attachments that are already saved on the local
filesystem
2. Use Attachments > Save All to attempt to write over them
3. Repeatedly hit yes when prompted for each file

Expected Results:
In addtion to yes/cancel on the confirm overwrite dialog, there should be a 'yes
to all' button that forces all email attachments being saved to overwrite the
file system copies. For an email with four attachments, that means 1 buttonpress
instead of four.
Confirming with build 2003-01-02-05 on Mac OS X 10.2.2, RedHat 8.0 and Windows 2000.

This is still an issue in Thunderbird version 3.1.1, which I upgraded to yesterday.

The 'Yes to all' option, requested by Gavin (above, the first comment) is something I would also like.
Bug 448588 seems to be proposed to be closed as a dup of this one. I have a point more related to 448588, but assume that this is still the relevant place to raise the issue.

I would like to request the date stamp of the file to be overwritten be displayed in the error message. It can be helpful in some situations, especially (e.g.) where a file has been up-issued several times and you are uncertain of the status of the one on disc when going through an old thread tidying up and clearing out attachments. It does no harm to display it and it may be helpful information.
