1870946 - Firefox falsely claims AV1 hardware decoding support

Steps to reproduce:

After updating Firefox to version 121 and going to about:support I was offered to install the AV1 Video Extension. I was quite curious about the offering since the used hardware (AMD Phenom II X6 1045T and GeForce GTX 1650) don't meet the requirements for AV1 hardware support. After installing the AV1 Video Extension from the Microsoft Store and restarting Firefox about:support did indeed claim AV1 hardware decoding support. I checked out Twitch and mainly some videos on YouTube in 4k that were exposed to being suitable for AV1 video testing.

Actual results:

The video stats claimed utilizing either H.264 for Twitch or VP9 for YouTube.

Expected results:

Since AV1 isn't even supported by the hardware on this system and respectively videos weren't delivered in AV1 Firefox should not have claimed AV1 hardware decoding support being available.

I selected 1920*768@30FPS with audio enabled and let the video run a bit over 1 minute. The video was quite choppy from time to time but on the majority it did run smooth.
