Steps to reproduce:
-
Make an online purchase with an unsaved card which triggers the credit card save prompt.
-
Look at the prompt.
Actual results:
I get a prompt asking if I want Firefox to save my credit card details with one positive and one negative option, labeled "not now".
Expected results:
Saying "not now" for the negative option only really makes sense as an alternative to "never".
Since I personally would like to not save the card and never see the prompt again, I would like there to be a never-save-and-stop-asking button right in the prompt. Then it would make sense to keep "not now", alongside "never" or whatever that gets called, for two negative options.
If there's no room for a never button, the "not now" label should probably be replaced with a simpler "no", which I think more accurately reflects what the user is deciding to do if they click the button (i.e. choosing to not save the card that the browser is offering to save, in this specific instance).
As a user, seeing "not now" alone makes me think that, if I click it, I am telling the software that I do actually want to save the card, I just want to save it later and not now. It also makes me feel like I might be interacting with an advertisement or some other sort of spam notification; I very rarely see a "not now" option on anything that it would actually be in my interest to decide to do.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Fenix::Autofill' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
