Steps to reproduce:

Website: https://addons.mozilla.org, it has no icon available in the tab tray. In Chrome it has and is visible.

Actual results:

Site icon is not available.

Expected results:

The website icon should be visible.

Another example of a site, which on Chrome has an icon and is visible, in Firefox the site icon is not available, this: https://seguidores.online/ro/ . I encountered this problem on many sites.

It is also reproducible in version 121. It can be seen that on the home page, the icon is with the letter "A". And as an addition, on the address: "Jumb back in" section, the website image is missing from the screen.

Good to know. In that case, this is probably not a new bug. I'll link to a meta bug for favicon issues. I wonder if bug 1813087 is a duplicate of this issue.

This site: https://radio.garden , in Chrome browser, there is a different icon than it is in Firefox. This issue with missing or not updated icons should be fixed.

The icon in the tab is missing, for example also on the Bugzilla site and on Google Search, after opening several tabs, I see that the icon is often missing, even if it is there.

To this comment I posted I am attaching a video when the icon stops appearing after I go to a video from a bug on Bugzilla that has absolutely no icon showing but when I go back to the site the site icon is gone appears, even if it exists. I also encountered this error on Google search. Does it require a new bug or does it supplement this bug?

Emanuel, this bug has already been triaged and prioritized. It's a low priority because it doesn't affect all sites and the user can still access the sites. I appreciate the detailed bug reports, but you don't need to needinfo people for every bug comment.

But can a solution be considered so that all favicons from all sites appear? Right now sites show a favicon with the first letter of the site, instead of being the original favicon of its site and the case of Addons.mozilla.org, which has no favicon at all, not even with the first letter of the site of the Can the priority be increased?
