Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://hyprland.org/
2. Scroll for the preview video to play

Actual results:

I saw this first reported on Reddit

Excessive resource usage is observed when the video is played, Firefox uses up to 4 times more CPU and 2 to 3 times more GPU compared to Edge.

Unfortunately I could not reproduce your issue. Both CPU and GPU levels were in normal ranges when playing the preview video. Would you be so kind as to answer a few questions so we can investigate this further?

Hello, all tests performed were on a new profile.

The issue still occurs in Nightly.

In Troubleshoot Mode the CPU usage of Firefox when playing the video increases even more and does not go below 90% and the GPU is not used at all.
