Steps to reproduce:
To avoid having a permanent log of my online activities on my devices, I'd like to delete old browsing history. The value of a history item decays over time, so deleting only old items strikes a good balance between utility and privacy. I consider this a pretty essential privacy feature. This is something that Firefox used to be able to do by itself, but strangely the feature was removed.
On Desktop, there are addons that help here, but it's odd to see such a core feature be delegated to addons. On mobile, as far as I was able to tell, it's currently impossible to only delete old browsing history.
