Steps to reproduce:
open about:profiles
click to open the directories
Actual results:
any directories mentionned have the cache folder in their path
/home/randomuser/.var/app/org.mozilla.firefox/cache/mozilla/firefox/randomletters.default-release
Expected results:
home/randomuser/.var/app/org.mozilla.firefox/.mozilla/firefox/randomletters.default-release/
should be visible there

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Also the root directory are not openable and actually do not exist but yet they are still visible from the about:profile page /home/user/.thunderbird/random.default

Is gtk really an appropriate place for this? Perhaps somewhere in toolkit?

Bug 1898283 may be related. Toolkit may be correct component but I have no idea if anyone monitors that component for such Linux/flatpak issues and works on that there.
