Steps to reproduce
- Open a page with articles (like bbc.com, cnn.com) in normal browsing.
- Long tap on one of the articles, and select the "Open link in new tab" or the "Open link in private tab" options from the context menu.
- Tap on "Switch" to go to the opened new/private tab.
- When it's fully loaded, tap on the reader view icon from the toolbar.
Expected behavior
The page is reloaded in reader view mode.
Actual behavior
The "Cannot Complete Request" error page is displayed in the same tab. The URL is strange: moz-extension://d1f.....
Device information
- Firefox version: all (RC 121.1.0, RC 122.0, Beta 122.0b9, Nightly 123.0a1)
- Android devices: all

Still reproducible on recent builds: Beta 125.0b2, nightly 125.0a1 from 3/18, RC 124.0 with Google Pixel 8 (Android 14).
Another way to trigger this issue:
- Open a page.
- Long-tap on a non-linked text --> select "Search" from the context menu.
I'll attach a logcat.
