Steps to reproduce:

Open this bug
Open https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/#nightly in a new tab
Add view-source: to the url

Actual results:

Cannot complete request

Expected results:

The page source is displayed

Works for me just fine in Fenix 123.0 (nightly)

Did you you open a new tab and then open the link?

Or

Did you long press the link and open in it a new tab from the context menu?

This is a valid bug.

Step to reproduce:

1. Open a tab , load url "https://mozilla.org"
2. Click "Open Link in new tab" on any clickable item in the page , for example "Get Firefox"
3. Switch to the new opened tab , the url is "https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/"
4. Append "view-source:" to the url ,and load
5. The error page "Cannot complete the request" shows.

The error message from about:debugging

Security Error: Content at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/ may not load or link to view-source:https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/. 

From the error message , it looks similar with bug 1863662
