Some questions that we’re interested in asking new profiles in about:welcome are around work context and user value, we’re interested in having a text component (an "other" field) for multi-select answers to further iterate on onboarding survey experiments

Closing this SPIKE. There's several open questions and effort is still not clear. Instead we're considering moving forward with some form of nested/combo checkbox or layout changes to support more checkboxes.
Questions that we had in case anyone is curious:
- How would we analyze the user input? Would this be done manually?
- Are there any legal or security implications of gathering user input? What are the requirements/standards for sanitizing the data?
- Can we re-purpose existing events + client_id or would this need to be updated to a different standard for text input?
- "Other" checkbox has been one of the lower selected checkboxes through prev surveys - do we anticipate enough users to respond using text input?
- Is the UX a good one? There is no input validation/out of scope - should this be considered and in-scope instead?
- The design states are unclear, should "other" + input be coupled together?

A patch has been attached on this bug, which was already closed. Filing a separate bug will ensure better tracking. If this was not by mistake and further action is needed, please alert the appropriate party. (Or: if the patch doesn't change behavior -- e.g. landing a test case, or fixing a typo -- then feel free to disregard this message)
