User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:122.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/122.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Opened Firefox on macOS.
2 .Navigated to Netflix and started playing any DRM-protected video content.
  2. Used the built-in screenshot tool in Firefox to capture the screen.
  3. Additionally, used the macOS system screenshot tool to capture the screen for comparison.

Actual results:

The screenshot captured using the built-in Firefox tool displayed the DRM-protected video content from Netflix, which is not the expected behavior for DRM content. However, when using the macOS system screenshot tool, the captured image properly showed a blacked-out area where the video was playing, which aligns with the expected DRM protection behavior.

Expected results:

Both the Firefox built-in screenshot tool and the macOS system screenshot tool should have either blocked the screenshot or blacked out the video area. This would indicate that DRM-protected content is properly safeguarded against screen capturing, adhering to content protection standards and DRM policies. The primary expectation is to prevent unauthorized distribution or capturing of copyrighted material, which is typically enforced in most browsers and platforms when viewing DRM-protected content.
