1877226 - Selecting text while scrolling is difficult/impossible

Steps to reproduce:

I tried to copy the long comment from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/1adakkw/comment/kk18jez/

This involved quite a bit of scrolling. It's just not possible for me to select and then copy the whole comment. The above URL is not the only example , I've had trouble on different occasions and different websites.

Actual results:

Either Firefox starts losing the selection while scrolling, or the "copy" pop-up never comes, or it somehow decides to select everything on the page. Very frustrating. It doesn't matter if you start selection from the top or bottom. Selecting long texts that require scrolling is just a nightmare in Firefox.

Expected results:

I tested it in Chromium and it's no problem at all to scroll while selecting and then being able to copy the desired paragraphs.

I managed to copy a long text after 1.5 minutes of struggling. This problem appears on other websites too when I want to copy a large block of text

I too can reproduce this problem. Unable to select larger text and it seems on reddit it can reproduce.
