Preconditions:
Reach about:config and set the following prefs:
browser.shopping.experience2023.enabled, set to true (doubleclick)
browser.shopping.experience2023.optedIn, set to 1 (doubleclick, input ‘0’, hit enter)
browser.shopping.experience2023.autoOpen.enabled - true
browser.shopping.experience2023.autoOpen.userEnabled - true

Enable NVDA

Steps to reproduce

  1. Reach https://www.amazon.com/Lufeiya-Computer-Drawers-Storage-Shelves/dp/B0CJ8PZB31/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=desk&qid=1707480103&sr=8-6&th=1
  2. Use Tab key in order to reach the Automatically open Review Checker button from the Settings panel.
  3. Disable the Automatically open Review Checker.
  4. Open the sidebar and use the Tab key in order to reach the Auto Open button again.

Expected result

  • The NVDA screen reader should say "Toggle button Not Pressed" since its disabled.

Actual result

  • NVDA will read the button state as "Toggle button Pressed" even though the button is disabled.
  • Please note that if it does say NOT pressed, Enable the button > Disable the button again open the Sidebar and reach it using keyboard navigation one more time, it will say PRESSED even though its disabled.

Regression range
Not a Regression

While this is an accessibility-s3 item, it feels as a high s3, because it would confuse a user if they can, in fact, keep the auto-open active or not.
