User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:122.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/122.0

SeaMonkey 2.53.18.1
Useragent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Buildnaam: 20240109203033

Actual results:

Light gray / white background colors. SeaMonkey uses the Windows 10 system colors. Windows 10 is overriding this options. In Windows 7, Vista and before, it was configurable withe Windows colors. Windows 10 has removed this porgram. In the registry of Windows 10, everyone can change many colors, but not the colors of SeaMonkey.

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors

The theme and SeaMonkey colors of Windows 7, Windows Vista, Mac and Linux are better and colorful.

Expected results:

Set this to the user settings instead of the system colors. Make also in the preferences a color settings for what the user wants.

Attachment #9379425 - Attachment is obsolete: true

Personally I think the Colors in Classic should match the system theme which they do mostly ok in Server 2019 Windows 10 at least in light mode.

I know that we need to do fine tuning but not enough people around to do the actual tuning so will probably not be changed any time soon. Volunteers welcome.

Version: SeaMonkey 2.53 Branch → SeaMonkey 2.53
