Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212
When I order the list of downloads in the download manager on the "Transferred"
column, they are ordered in alphanumeric order e.g.
1044KB of 1044KB
104KB of 104KB
1052KB of 1052KB
This is counter-intuitive, and I would think not what was intended by anyone who
attempts to order in this way. Ordering should be numeric not alphanumeric.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download some files
2. Open the Download Manager
3. Click on the "Transferred" column header to order the contents by this column
Actual Results:
"Transferred" column was ordered alphanumerically
Expected Results:
Numerical ordering on "Transferred" column.
Of if this is too hard, then turn off ordering on "Transferred" altogether.

Solved by the new UI in bug 472001 (just landed), so duping to that.

Maybe it could be partially solve by adding one or more spaces before "KB", before ordering. e.g.,
1044KB of 1044KB
104KB of 104KB
1052KB of 1052KB
becomes
104 KB of 104 KB
1044 KB of 1044 KB
1052 KB of 1052 KB

As I said in comment #7, it _is_ solved completely and correctly by the new UI in bug 472001 for SeaMonkey 2.0 Beta 1 and later.
