Steps to reproduce:

  • Navigate to a Youtube video
  • Enable picture-in-picture popout

Actual results:

Size of the popout is remembered
Position on the screen and always on top settings are not remembered.

Expected results:

Size, position, and always on top settings should be remembered across page loads and toggling picture-in-picture.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Picture-in-Picture' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I recently had to move my home dir to another PC, and noticed afterwards that Firefox does not exhibit the same behaviour as reported here any longer. I cant explain why that is.
