Chrome avoids this problem by not showing a lock icon on secure pages. Chrome shows a site permissions icon on secure pages and a warning icon on insecure pages.

Hello Manuel, with the composable toolbar, we no longer show an insecure logo when a site is loading.
Please can you confirm that this works for you now?
Thanks!

I can confirm that the insecure symbol is no longer displayed. Now the globe symbol is displayed, which matches my security expectation.
The globe is not tap-/clickable, but that is potentially a design decision and if not, to be tracked in another bug.

I don't know if we have a specific commit / bug we can point to where this got introduced. If so we could set it in the depends_on field and set resolution to FIXED. I'll close as WORKSFORME, because I don't know which bug that would be.
