The ESLint rule object-shorthand has been enabled across the majority of mozilla-central for a while now.
The comment in the .eslintrc.js file says that this is something to be considered at review time, however the intent of ESLint is to make review simpler. Hence I think we should enable it on the extensions code to be consistent with the rest of m-c.

There is an r+ patch which didn't land and no activity in this bug for 2 weeks.
