Details

Phoenix always starts esd on my machine, usually the first time I scroll a page. No sounds ever play. Nor do I want any to. There's nothing in the preferences about sound, how do I stop phoenix from hijacking my sound card? Todays linux build.
turn of type ahead find sound. not a bug.

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/ui/accessibility/typeaheadfind.html says the pref "accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound" disables/enables sound. This is not in Phoenix's about:config.
