Attached video 20240226_170413.mp4

Environment:
Operating system: Android 12/ Android 13
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 125.0a1 (2016005351-🦎125.0a1-20240223095502🦎)
Preconditions:
Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.aliexpress.com/
  2. Locate and open the "3+ items from US $1.99" deal.
  3. Tap on the "+" sign inside any item.
  4. Observe the result.

Expected Behavior:
The item can be added to the deal

Actual Behavior:
Nothing happens

Notes:

  • Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release
  • Works as expected using Chrome
  • Reproducible for other sections that have the "+" sign located inside items
  • Screenrec attached
  • Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing
Severity: -- → S2
Priority: -- → P1
Component: Mobile → Site Reports

STRs should say "Navigate to https://www.aliexpress.com/"

In the video, the product images are resized wrong which seems to be related. In standard Responsive Design Mode for a device like "Galaxy S20+ Android 11", the page works fine. If I update the UA to match the current Firefox Android UA (eg Mozilla/5.0 (Android 14; Mobile; rv:128.0) Gecko/128.0 Firefox/128.0) then I see the broken behaviour. Specifically, removing the 'AppleWebKit' stanza breaks the page.

Yes, it slipped from the previous bug report, I've made the correction. Ty for that

User Story: (updated)

aliexpress.com no longer seems to have a 3+ deal or anything like it that uses '+'. It's quite possible this will reoccur if they do another deal like this.
