Nightly refuses to load any page until I "Restart to keep using Nightly"

This is a bad bug.
I have the latest Nightly on Windows with automatic background updates enabled.
I opened Firefox today and while I was browsing, Nightly must have updated in the background.
Suddenly, any page i tried to open, the page would only show me a warning (see attached screenshot). Effectively, I cant open any page until I restart to complete the update.

Do you use multiple Firefox profiles?
Yes, I do have multiple profiles that I sometimes use in parallel for testing. I had also asked in the Firefox Nightly matrix channel, and someone said that what i saw is the expected behaviour, so feel free to resolve as INVALID :)
(and while i have your attention, can you also take a quick look at bug 1872482 please - that may also be INVALID)
