Note
- An XULRunner error/warning is displayed during installation on an older version that was running right before.

- Beta v124.0b5
Affected versions
- Beta v124.0b5
- unknown about other channels/branches, but I have seen this reproduce once before
Tested platforms
- Affected platforms: Windows 10
- Unaffected platforms: unknown
Steps to reproduce
- Install the latest version on beta (in my case, Beta v124.0b5)
- Open it and create a new profile, load some common web pages, and install an addon.
- Uninstall the browser.
- Install a previous version of beta (in my case, beta v123.0b5)
Expected result
- Installation does not show any errors/warnings.
Actual result
- During installation, an error is shown: XULRunner: This profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile. The installation continues after the user confirms this error (clicks "OK").

- This issue might be intermittent or it occurs under uncommon circumstances.
