Got there via http://www.canvas.be  -> "Deze week op Canvas " link in the left 
Then you get to the programming schedule of this national tv station.
On the right of the schedule there is some weird type of scroll bar ( look
carefully, the side is very dark-blue, heardly visible ) which let you scroll
down & up to see which programs there are this day.  The handeling of this
scrollbar is  slow, very difficult to navigate ( PPro200/128MB memory machine ).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.http://195.0.110.55/html/canvas_web/pgg/2003_02/prgovz_2003_02_4.html
1.a  http://www.canvas.be
1.b  choose "Deze week op Canvas" (in English "this week on canvas")  This wil
bring you to the todays broadcasting schedule.
2.try to scroll ( right hand of window ) looking at complete schedule.


Actual Results:  
very slow & difficult to navigate, counter-intuitive.

Expected Results:  
scroll fluently 

VRT ( the public funded national radio & tv ) told me it was not their problem,
but something in Mozilla.
I cannot grasp why they use this non-standard scroll, I have no idea what
technology is behind it.
Older Mozilla's ( even back in M-releases time ) had the same problem.

It's a javascript scroller that they're rolling entirely by hand.... we have
some known perf issues with such

using trunk 2003041508 on winxp scrolling is superb smooth.

I don't know about "difficult to navigate" or "count-intuitive" (and since it's
their own UI, it would be their problem), but the scrolling isn't real fast with
linux trunk 20030419 and hasn't improved since 1.2

Is this bug still relevant? I went to  http://www.canvas.be > Deze Week and had no problem scrolling... 7 years later.
