Steps to reproduce:
Run web platform test: https://wpt.fyi/results/dpub-aam/role/roles.html?label=master&label=experimental&aligned&q=label%3Aaccessibility
Only 20 out of 38 roles are implemented.
Actual results:
The following roles are missing:
- doc-abstract
- doc-backlink
- doc-biblioref
- doc-colophon
- doc-cover
- doc-dedication
- doc-epigraph
- doc-example
- doc-glossref
- doc-noteref
- doc-notice
- doc-pagebreak
- doc-pagefooter
- doc-pageheader
- doc-pullquote
- doc-qna
- doc-subtitle
- doc-tip
Expected results:
The support for Digital Publishing ARIA Roles in Firefox is incomplete. Upon review of the current implementation (referenced here: https://wpt.fyi/results/dpub-aam/role/roles.html?label=master&label=experimental&aligned&q=label%3Aaccessibility), it's observed that only 20 out of 38 roles are implemented.
These roles play a crucial role in enhancing accessible reading experiences for web publishing content and for all ebook reading solutions based on Firefox. It's imperative to address this gap to ensure comprehensive accessibility support.
