Steps to reproduce:
- Install the attached extension
- Open the extension popup
- Click the "Click here to open options" link
Actual results:
It doesn't appear at first that anything has happened. But, in fact, the options page is opened, just below the extension popup. Once you close the popup, the options page becomes visible.
Expected results:
The options page should pop up over the extension, or it should otherwise be apparent that it has been opened and that it is possible to get to it. Without any sort of visual indication that the options page is open, it looks like the link to it does nothing, and the user would have no way of knowing it.
On desktop, since the popup only takes up part of the screen, it's very clear that the options page is popping up even as the popup remains open.

Thanks for reporting this :jpd236, I can reproduce and agree it isn't great to see the tab open silently behind the addon page.
