User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 12; Mobile; rv:123.0) Gecko/123.0 Firefox/123.0
Steps to reproduce:
Happens randomly
Actual results:
Youtube video is cut in half showing only the top half in the player and and a black bar above it. When scrolling the video snaps up to fill the player then back down. Seems to be fixed by clicking on new video.
Expected results:
Video should be 100% visible the entire time

This happens on my Samsung S10e
It's not entirely clear to me how to reproduce it but here are the steps I took
Click on a vertical video not a short, but a vertical video
Click on a square formatted video (like a song with an album cover)
Then click on a regular video
Then scroll down
This should cut the player in half
This was reproducible on version 123.1.0

Although looking video of comment #1, "Youtube video is cut in half showing only the top half in the player and and a black bar above it." doesn't occur. When scrolling YouTube content, video element is resized from original.
Reporter, could you attach video that is reproduced? (And if possible, What's chrome's behavior and video)

Can't seem to reproduce it on the current version of Firefox
Also the steps to reproduce in comment #3 are actually for Brave browser, I reported a similar issue on their forums and got confused.
Chrome seems to also have this behaviour, and it's reproducible in the same way as in comment #3, but I can't seem to reproduce it on the current version of Firefox anymore.

I tried one more time to reproduce it and it does reproduce after taking the steps in comment #3
I will attach the video of the bug in a few minutes. The screen sort of jumps and jitters around.
This is a video of the bug. It was produced by watching a vertical video, scrolling up to compress the video in to a horizontal format and then clicking on a horizontal video
this seems to trick the player in to displaying it like a vertical video so it cuts off the bottom of the video.
I added the warning for photosensitive people in the title because the video sort of jumps back and forth around the screen.
