• VPN connected to US
• Bing set as default engine.

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Firefox.
2. Open a new tab and focus the address bar.
3. Select a trending search and submit it.
4. Continue submitting trending searches.

Expected result

• Address bar dropdown flickers/glitches.

Actual result

• Address bar dropdown does not flicker/glitch.

Regression range

• Will come back with one ASAP.

Does this happen while using the trending suggestions normally or does this only happen if the user clicks on a trending suggestion and then switches their default search engine before attempting to look at another trending suggestion?

Was able to reproduce without switching search engines - that is, setting Bing as default before enabling the feature, and without submitting trending suggestions on a different search engine. Updating the STR.
