Affected Version:

  • Firefox 123.0.1 (64-bit)

Affected Platforms:

  • MacOS 14.1 (23B2073)

Preconditions

  • With Title Bar enabled

Steps to Reproduce:

  • 1.Navigate to about:addons.
  • 2.Enable the "Firefox Alpenglow" Theme.
  • 3.Examine the visibility of the icons on the top left and right sides of the page, especially for "View recent browsing across windows and devices" button and "List all tabs" button.

Actual Results:

  • Icons in the upper corners of the screen are indistinct and difficult to discern.

Expected Results:

  • Icons should display with high contrast to ensure clear visibility against the theme background.

Can you reproduce this at any window size or only in maximized windows? Has this always been broken or did something break here recently?

Thanks for your reply.
I have found this issue in any window size, please see the "additional video".

I was able to reproduce the issue on Mac 12.6 using FF build 123.0, also found multiple issues reported for "Firefox Alpenglow" Theme, could not find a duplicate though. For "List all tabs" button seems to reproduce back to 113.0a1.
Dão Gottwald do you agree with marking this issue as New? Thank you.

Well, I agree this is a bug, however Alpenglow isn't part of the Firefox codebase (it lives on AMO). I'm trying to find out who would be responsible for fixing this.
