Firefox version: Nightly 125.0a1-20240317231404

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://www.baidu.com
  2. Dismiss the location prompt.
  3. Refresh the page.

Expected Behaviour:
The location prompt no longer appears.

Actual Behaviour:
The location prompt keeps appearing on page refresh.

Notes:

  1. Screen rec attached
  2. Reproducible on Firefox Release as well
  3. Reproducible regardless of the ETP status
  4. Workaround: check the "Remember decision for this site" when dismissing the prompt
  5. Not reproducible on Chrome, it does not even appear when accessing the page for the first time
  6. Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing
