Weird thing, I've tried to run a mozregression
, but I could not reproduce it in the current version launched in cmd using mozregression --launch 2024-01-21
, but I can reproduce it on the actual build when opening Firefox Nightly.

Is it something in your Profile? Does it reproduce in a fresh profile on Nightly for you?
If it's something in your profile, if so then you can ask mozregression
to use a specific profile

I am currently blocked from creating a new profile using Nightly by this report. It seems that there is something specific in my profile by following the provided link (great stuff, thanks for that btw), as launching it reproduces the issue running mozregression
. Also, I can create a new profile in Firefox Release or Beta, and then launch Nightly using that profile, but again that reproduces the issue. So, that might be the cause, I think. Until I can create a new profile in Nightly, I can't really say.

Bug 1886388 has been fixed. Hopefully, you're unblocked.
It would be good to narrow down if this is a new regression in Fx126, what caused it, and get this in front of the right people to investigate.

Donal, just as I suspected, the profile was corrupted when triggering an old, other version of Firefox, profile. I could not reproduce on the latest Nightly.
Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 126.0a1 (2024-03-27) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

I think we can probably close this as it works in new profiles, unless we get more issues like this.
