User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130
I right-clicked on one of my files and said "save link target as." After a
pause, an error message came up saying "The link could not be saved. The web
page might have been removed..."
I then accessed the page in IE, and used the same method successfully to save
the file.
When I went back to Mozilla, I successfully re-downloaded the same file.
However, when I tried to download other files, the same error came up. After
this, I could no longer download the original file.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a Yahoo account. Go to Briefcase and upload something.
2. Go to http://briefcase.yahoo.com/your_username
3. Do what I said I did in the details.
Actual Results:
Error message:
"The link could not be saved. The web page might have been removed..."
Expected Results:
Open a standard Windows "save as" dialog
After I did the steps in the Details, I went back to IE to re-download the same
old file. It didn't work. (It showed me a "getting file information" dialog
for a while, and then said "Internet Explorer cannot download [url]. The site
was not found..." Mozilla, on the other hand, worked fine.
Don't believe what I put for the reproducibility. I only downloaded Mozilla
yesterday, and found the bug today.

This should be caused that mozilla sends no referrer.
Please reopen if you see this with a nightly build and set the bug status to
"verified" if it works.
