Steps to reproduce:

My current SeaMonkey version is 2.53.18.1. Today I had SeaMonkey Mail running only, Browser was not open. Then I received an update notification for SeaMonkey 2.53.18.2. Within the update notification window I clicked on the link "Weitere Informationen zu diesem Update ansehen" (~"View further information to this update").

Actual results:

Nothing happened. SeaMonkey Browser did not open.

(Test: After launching SeaMonkey Browser manually, the link in the update notification window opened a new tab with the corresponding website.
After closing Browser again, the link did not work anymore.)

Expected results:

SeaMonkey Browser should have launched with all previously opened tabs, adding new tab and loading the website with the release notes.

Patch for SeaMonkey release branch only.

I wonder if this ever worlked in the last years. Probably never occured in Firefox because there was always a browser window open.
