189027 - Mozilla hangs if i try to watch the Word document as attachment in bugzilla

we have bugzilla installed. if you make a bug report and add MS Word document as
attachment with mime-type "application/msword" and then try to view that
attachment, in status line of mozilla appears "sending request to host.."
message and browser hangs for ever. With Mozilla version 1.2 we don't have any
problems

Can you please try this :
Do you mean with hang that mozilla doesn't load it or really hangs and you must
close it ?
if a real hang :
close mozilla including quicklaunch and rename the file "XUL.MFL" in your
Mozilla user profile (see the release notes for the path). Does it work now ?

yes, it hangs really,
you are right, if i rename XUL.MFL, it works, it doesn't hang any more

Can you please zip the xul.mfl and send it to [e-mail] ?
(FYI: This file ist only a cache for Mozilla's UI and doesn't contain personal data)
