Steps to reproduce:
select thing (text, image, video)
copy thing (ctrl-c)
paste-as-quotation (ctrl-shift-o)
Actual results:
nothing appeared
Expected results:
the thing that was copied should appear, quoted (vertical line before it)
In Thunderbird it works fine. And it is mentioned in the Thunderbird menu, as well.
Perhaps, when repaired, it can be mentioned in the Seamonkey Editor menu as well...
I use it often to paste parts of newspaper articles in my science notes file.

I am unable to reproduce this. Which version and os? In composer only?

version is 2.53.18.2, os is lubuntu 20.04, only in composer, seamonkey mail works fine. ah, composer works fine in new (blank) composer files, it is not working now in my 6000 pages science notes files, it used to work there.
