Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to a conversation at web.telegram.org or messenger.com
2. Type some text
3. Copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C/Ins/X, Shift+Del)

Firefox 123.0.1 64-bit that comes with Fedora.

Actual results:

The web app shows an overlay for dropping files

Expected results:

Nothing in addition to the text being copied to the clipboard.

The bug is reproducible, but intermittently.

Once the overlay is triggered in a tab, it's possible that copying text to the clipboard in another tab won't trigger the bug. After using the browser normally for a few minutes, the bug will be reproducible again. I haven't yet been able to tell what resets the state.

I can reproduce this bug reliably in three apps - Messenger, Telegram and Instagram - when Firefox is in full screen:

1. Maximize Firefox
2. In a conversation view, select some text
3. Press Ctrl+C

Firefox 137.0.2 (64-bit)
Fedora Linux KDE Plasma 5.27.11 Wayland
KDE Frameworks 5.115.0
QT 5.15.12

The apps don't seem to be using the same component for file uploads (at least Telegram vs. the Meta apps).
