Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 When opening a second browser window by invoking the command "mozilla", I see the mozilla profile manager asking me to select a profile. When selecting my profile, I get an error that says that this profile is already in use (with the first browser I opened). When opening new window by clicking a url from Evolution, I do not get the profile manager. There should be a way to open the as many browser windows under the same profile. This is a problem most often when I'm using mozilla on two different desktops. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Mozilla either by clicking the Gnome panel icon or starting Mozilla from a terminal window 2. Then open a second browser using the same process as in one 3. Actual Results: I saw the profile manager and I am unable to open my profile because it is in use by the first browser. Expected Results: I should be able to open a second browser window under the same profile

the profile manager comes up to prevent you from running multiple instances of Mozilla with the same profile (which results in profile corruption) to get the behavior you're expecting you can grab an RPM build or use the patch in bug 122698. dupe of "Detect currently running instance of Mozilla when app is launched a second time" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 122698 ***
