Steps to reproduce:
For many years, it has been possible to combine bookmarklets (JavaScript functions saved as bookmarks) with bookmark keywords to effectively create search shortcuts that take two different parameters.
For example, you can have a single keyword that parses this URL pattern: https://%1.wikipedia.org/wiki/%2, so that:
w it Firefoxgoes tohttps://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=Firefoxw ja Firefoxgoes tohttps://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=Firefox, and so on
Since you have plans to migrate old bookmark keywords to search shortcuts, and they won't support any JavaScript code, please consider making it possible to create native search shortcuts with two different parameters.
Note: Bug 1310666 is about using the same parameter twice.

Thank you for your request.
We think the use-case for this is an edge case, and it's still well served by the small annoyance of having to create multiple keywords pointing to different domains. That will also feel safer to us as then one can't that easily replace the origin of a bookmarked site.
Overall, after discussing this suggestion, we feel like the cost of adding and maintaining it, would overweight the benefits, as there is a workaround.
The future UI should better support the case of multiple keywords pointing to different origins, so we hope it won't be problematic to manage them. Or eventually we could re-evaluate in the future.
If you have other use cases in mind, please let us know, so we can consider them.
