Is your OS configured to display in French?

Flags: needinfo?(anti-stress)

Yes (and Firefox is in french too)
I'm running Debian Testing with GNOME btw

eemeli, my suspicion is that flatpak is multi-locale but that we don't pick up the right locale in the profile manager because we're so early in startup. Does that sound right? Do we have an existing bug on this at all?

Flags: needinfo?(earo)

We don't have a bug on this. I'm not very familiar with the profile manager or flatpaks, but as they use langpacks for localization, the profile manager won't be localized, as noted by Flod in 614952#c1.

That would be bug 1726133.
