Steps to reproduce:

1. In Firefox for Android, go to https://loglog.games/blog/leaving-rust-gamedev/ .
2. With a single finger, do a "tap, tap-and-move" zoom gesture, and keep zooming in and out slowly, by moving your finger away from and back towards the double-tap position.

Expected results:
Smooth motions of the finger should result in smooth changes in zoom level.

Actual results:
At irregular intervals, the zoom "jumps ahead" and back for a brief moment, giving the gesture a jerky and stuttery feeling.
In the attached screen recording, I captured two moments during zoom-in gestures where the page rendered too large and then went back to a smaller size even though it should have been growing evenly.

This might be the same bug as bug 1893042.
